CASIO W-59 Review (Module 590) – Is this another great alternative to the Casio F-91W?

It goes without saying that the Casio F-91W digital watch is an iconic and very affordable timepiece and if you are a Casio watch collector then it is the must-have watch to add to your collection.  Saying that the Casio F-91W does have a few negatives that it associated with the 1980s-derived digital watch.

Other than the backlight (which is a bit poor on the Casio F-91W) the one other negative that you get with F-91W is its water resistance, or better still lack of it.  It’s only splash resistant so ideally the watch shouldn’t be worn when you are swimming or showering.

With the above in mind, we have started to look at watches that are not too dissimilar to the Casio F-91W but have a few added positives.  So in this instance, we are going to take a look at the Casio W-59 as an alternative to the F-91W.

As is usual with the video reviews that we undertake here at We Try Anything, we will be looking at the design of the Casio W-59 and the materials that make up the watch.  Then we will go over some of the features of the Casio W-59 by following it up with an appraisal of what it is like to wear on the wrist.  Finally, we will mention whether it is a worthy successor to the F-91W and if you should add it to your collection.

Hope you enjoy the review!
